This is a techinical list of all weapons and items in CS2D. The data has been generated by a Lua script. An exact explantation of all colums is written under the table.

meaning of the columns[]

  • ID: The ID of the weapon. Important to know for Lua scripters.
  • name: the name
  • slot: weapon slot. A 0 means the weapon uses no slot (like Night Vision)
  • dmg: The damage the weapon makes without zoom each hit.
  • dmg_z1: If the weapon is a gun, this does mean the damage on zoom level 1 (if it exists). Important: If the weapon is a melee weapon, it is the damage for the alternative attack!
  • dmg_z2: Damage on zoom level 2 (if it exists) each hit.
  • rate the firerate; the delay between two shots, in frames.
  • reload: the time the weapon needs to reload (if the weapon is reloadable), in frames.
  • ammoin: how much ammo fits in a magazine.
  • ammo: how much ammo the player can carry for this weapon, without ammo in magazine. The value "-1" has a special meaning, it stands for infinite ammo.
  • price: how much the weapon costs, in dollars. Not all weapons can be actually bought through the buy menu.
  • range: range of the projectiles, in pixels. The projectile disappear and are not dangerous anymore if they traveled this distance
  • dispersion: level of burst of the weapon. 0 means perfect accuracy, meaning the bullets fly exacly to the mouse pointer, higher numbers mean lower accuracy.
  • recoil: how much the recoil pushes back the player. This is just an animation without effects on gameplay.

Misc.[]

The data has been gathered for each weapon with the itemtype(id,"value") lua function. The table contains the raw (!) output, no calculations have been made so far.
